COBRA - changed compliance requirements !

The new Stimulus Act passed by Congress on February 17, 2009 requires all employers to send
new COBRA Election Forms to all employees involuntarily terminated after September 1, 2008.

All involuntarily terminated employees must be given the right to elect coverage
under the employer's group health Insurance plan effective March 1, 2009.

These notices are mandatory !
